In a world where travel fears seem to be swirling in the air, we understand the struggle all too well. Claustrophobia and confinement on planes can cast a shadow on your wanderlust. In today's fast-paced world of constant stimulation, sitting still for an extended period can feel like a daunting challenge.


Have a trip coming up? Don't let anxiety crash your travel plans! Here are some of our personal tips to soothe travel anxiety and liberate your mind. After all, it sometimes is all in your head and you need some distraction to walk you off a cliff.


  1. Essential Oils: Sniff away your worries with essential oils like lavender, frankincense, or bergamot. They're anxiety's arch-nemesis! Just a whiff can transport you to a zen oasis and keep those travel jitters at bay, not to mention protect your immune system while in flight.

  2. Therapy: Give anxiety a good talking-to! Seek therapy to unveil the mysteries of your anxiety realm. Whether it's claustrophobia from a recent event or an unruly fear of flying, a therapist will shine a light you towards the underlying reason for your anxiety and help you find ways to cope.

  3. Focus on your breathe: Kick it up a notch by bringing a hand or electric fan onboard! Let's get some air in your face, babe! Carry a handheld fan for on-the-go serenity. We find that blowing air in your face (especially during these warm summer months) really helps soothe anxiety.

  4. Bag of Tricks: Prepare for battle! Arm yourself with a travel bag packed with goodies. Bring along a journal for venting, an adult coloring book to lose track of time, a book for escapism, and your favorite shows/movies downloaded for in-flight entertainment. Don't forget snacks, water, and all the must-haves to keep your tummy happy! Always remember to check yourself when unsettling reasons arise typically it is one of the following reasons: you are hungry, tired, or something triggered you or certain emotions.

  5. CBD: For anxiety's kryptonite, meet CBD! We've got a personal favorite, Vital Tonics. A couple of drops and you are solid gold baby. It's like a trusty sidekick in your anxiety-fighting squad. Remember to follow dosage guidelines, and if in doubt, consult a healthcare pro.
